The Golden Fox (Vulpus aurium) is a rare cryptid from China and Nepal

Description[]

Those who have seen this very rare fox, describe it as looking almost identical to a normal red fox, except for the fact that it has long floppy ears, like a beagle. Also, instead of a reddish orange coat, it has a gleaming gold colored coat.

Sightings[]

1282[]

On his travels to China, Marco Polo briefly wrote about a creature he encountered in Tibet. He described it to resemble a fox, but with a golden coat and long floppy ears. He first witnessed the creature stalk and kill a hamster and scurry back into a burrow. He then later saw another one (it is unknown whether this is the same specimen or not) prowling around his campsite in the early hours of the morning.
